The Bombastic Gourmet Ltd. grew from roots in VancouverBC, PuyallupWA, GalesburgIL, & ChicagoIL. 

Beginning in the summer of 1998 after realizing it wasn’t always easy to source the highest-quality fresh, local and wholesome foods, then BlueVelvetFoods sought to change that. A global grocer was envisioned, where chefs and professionals could source the base components needed to turn average meals into extraordinary. 

Over time, catering opportunities led to product line developments and farm to plate research. Today, Bombastic Gourmet can be found at farmers markets, food truck pop up corners, direct ship web cart sales,

and with localized distribution channel partners.
